COVID-19 Travel Information

Travel protocols for Barbados have recently changed and vary slightly based on the travelers vaccination status.

As of June 1, 2022, unvaccinated travelers will require a NEGATIVE pre-flight test within three (3) days prior to arrival here on the island.

As of May 25, 2022, fully vaccinated travelers to Barbados will no longer have to take a COVID-19 test to enter the country.

Masks will only be mandatory indoors and on public transportation. Outdoors, masks are optional.

All travelers to Barbados will be required to complete a Pre-Arrival on-line Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) form. This online form will include ED information, including intended address and health information and allow for the uploading of COVID 19 PCR test results and vaccination records.

You are required to complete the Immigration and Customs Travel Form, which will be available 72 hours prior to your arrival in Barbados. Once the form is completed, the Immigration and Customs receipt, will be sent to the email that you provided in the form. Please save the receipts to your mobile device or print, for presentation to Immigration and Customs, upon arrival.

The receipt will contain the travel code which will be required for access to the BIMSAFE APP, developed by the Ministry of Health and Wellness to assist in the management of COVID-19 in Barbados. It is intended for use by all arriving passengers.
